Greg, believe it or not there was simply no fear today. The TICK count could only muster up a -686 and it did not stay there long. Lots of knives were caught today, as people are simply counting on that rate cut. It may come or it may not, but I think it is 50-50 at best. The knives people caught today could prove to be more fat on the fire tomorrow, as they bail! I still think we need to see at least 3 days of -1000 (fear) or 2 days of -1200 (near panic), or one big massive day of -1400 (absolute panic) before I go long. When that happens I will be buying QCOM (along with you), as well as QLGC, RMBS, SSTI, NTAP, and AVNX. That should make a good basket don't you think? I might play long with calls instead. If I go with calls it will be no more than 15% of my port, perhaps a combination. Thoughts? M
