Maybe it is just an ego thang -- maybe he thinks he is invincible. Not sure what he considers important ... price stability (his and the BLS's) be damned -- he's robbing people of their purchasing power and has been for years.
Now that stocks aren't going up 25% a year maybe a few folks will wake and smell the coffee ...

The appropriate move at this point for him would be to raise rates .25 to .5 % and it will never happen...
The man is a total clown and despite what some say, has been one for years...
