Techs ARE the business cycle now! This bear is cyclical, with a liquidity crisis in public venture capital, a
dose of credit crunch from the 1990 recession, and a dose of Constitutional crisis from the 1974 recession.
...oh, and a dose of an energy scare like '74 or '79, but this time not real. <<

Bill i have the 1990 assumption right but the other two who would of guessed, but the man upstairs. i'll say after looking at todays action on my charts the s&p 500 is looking dangerous. I don't think the Fed can turn this around inJanuary by decreasing the rate a 1/4 point. The market has two maybe a little more priced in already. The other thing is many people have taken a hit by underestimating the power and force of this bear i have for one, not going to lie about this. But my financial situation is ok as long as i don't make a big mistake. I'm one to take risk but this is rediculous many of my wealthy friends are feeling the pinch now and they don't plan on getting back in until it completely washes out. The rumor is in silicon valley that it'll take about a 12 to 18 mos for this to turn around.
