craig: A lot of "ifs". The market is anticipating a bad employment report on Friday. We are facing tough news on earnings -- and it is likely to keep getting tougher by the day. The market will begin to "demand" a inter-meeting cut on Friday if the jobs data really is bad. If the market does not get a cut on Friday -- well this is what we saw at the last Fed meeting -- the market will get even more ugly. The trend is down. Betting on a rebound can be profitable -- but it can also clean out your bank account.
