Don, I'm a little surprised (confused?) that you would go long the Naz at the close here....I would think that you have (yet) to receive a buy signal on the Naz...that we are still at least a day/two away....I look forward to reading your commentary...

Whadda make of the relatively low volume on the QQQs and Naz composite? Seems positive, but the reasons for today's selloff (it seems some long-term holders and big boys are selling big blocks of the great stocks of the last decade....)..well, I would think that activity will continue into tomorrow (at least), and, additionally some margin pressure at the open, and some of the "faithful" (long-time bulls) getting home from work today and saying, "BULLHONKY"..."GET ME OUT OF THIS THING!".....So, since I am all cash, am hoping (and somewhat expecting) a lame open.....

Concerning sectors: Well, handhelds (PDAs- Rimm, Palm, etc) have further to fall...and many tech sectors are still selling well above 10x revenues, so the selling certainly could continue in names like JNPR, CIEN, and even CSCO....Although some (like PCs) look like a bargain (gulp) at 1x revs...or some (aapl, gtw, cpq) at less than 1x revs...

Some slow-growth techs (COMS, AAPL, etc) are selling at cash or barely above...wow...Coke at 7x revs, Apple at .6x...

I guess we're no longer going to use pc's, servers, routers, modems, etc <G>
