In general I agree with their view but think that they are too high on the percentage of growth in 2001. While I think quantity will grow 20% or more, component prices will moderate downward so that semi dollar sales are up only about 8-12% for the year. But that is not nearly the catastrophe that is now being factored into the market for many semiconductor stocks.

I think their 20% may turn out to be true even for semi sales. A year is a long time, conditions change and the markets move very fast. I think we are in for a slowing but if its not prolonged, conditions will improve quickly.
