BTW I'll repeat the question. Would you argue against any increase for social programs (both entitlements and social programs that fall under "discresionary spending") until all waste is eliminated? Tim, If its a good and beneficial program, no I would not want to wait until all waste is cut from the budget. If we were truly develop the abilities and awareness of our people, we would have less need for guns and war. Guns and war are not symbols of an advanced people, one that is evolving. So I think its to our advantage to push for the advancement of our own people and encourage those same advancements for the citizens of other countries as well. I would rather spend the military $$$ on feeding the Russians and providing them with the tools to build their country, then to spend it on star wars. ted
