I have to confess a certain fondness for Jack, he was always the perfect partner for a flame war. A smoothly functioning insult machine, he was good for endless exchanges that nobody could possibly care about. Somewhere in the SI backfiles, there's a day when Jack ceremoniously stopped "ignoring" me by resuming posting his insults to me directly, instead of posting them to other people. About 50-60 messages, none of which I read. I am, of course, endlessly amused by right wing wackos bleating "free speech", given personal experience with the games they play with the SI thought police. Jack's thread seems to be off to a booming start, and if Neocon shifts his 50 posts of pompous sanctimony/day quota there, it won't have a volume problem. Cheers, Dan.
