This suggests then that the cable operator's profits from broadband are slim and that there is little opportunity for rate increases. If this were not true, they would be installing service despite the higher interest rates since they would recover the costs selling improved content to the customers. Or maybe it's simply the fact that the content has not caught up with the broadband capabilities.
