Received a phone call from my brother Yvon asking me why a reduction in interest rate can have such an impact on RIM and NT.

I don't know.

What I know is that an reduction in the prime rate will be good for:

- our junior oil and gas producers because this industry use a lot of capital.
- the construction business and therefore Sico, Brampton Brick and Norwall Group.

I try to figure out why a reduction of 0.50% will help me to finance a Blackburry.

On the other hand, you can have AMR which produce magnet powder and other rare materials who are used in phone cells and other small devices and other high tech gadgets. With AMR, you don't have to care about who will the winners: NOKIA, PALM and so on. In each case, you win.

There is a new function on my web site, a small dbase of relevant insider trades that I took on the Alberta Securities Commission. There is already someone who like it. If you think that is a good feature, let me know.

You can have access to an other data base (in french) at cote100.com

Have a good night all,
