Dave,

You are absolutely correct. What you may not realize is that I've been pointing out that MSFT, as well as the other "Pillars of NASDAQ," have been overvalued for over a year now, so I figured that I should say something now that its price had fallen to the point where...

But anyway, if you read the Analysis itself you'll see that I am not recommending that anyone purchase MSFT at this point. Instead, I'm using the "Pillars of NASDAQ" as a litmus test, to see whether the worst excesses of the "bubble" had been eliminated.

I love your response to my post - in the past, when I posted notices that these Analyses could be found on the Napeague web site, I've been greeted with a hail of abuse from those who would insistently tell me about the "new paradigms" in investing, or report me to SI Bob as a spammer.

The Analysis can be found on the TNL web site, whose URL can be found by clicking on the blue "Bob Davis" at the top of this post.

Dave,

<< If you think that is absurdly low, you should go buy some AAPL, which is selling for that right now. >>

AAPL is only worth the cash they have in the bank. I wouldn't be surprised if they went under in the near future.

MSFT is the largest most dominant software company in the world. It's valued as such and will remain so.
