More positives with Broadcom's lower stock price:

a) Greater ability to attract new talent to the company and retain existing employees. How so? Options which issue at this time will clearly be valuable in 3 years. This is the best opportunity new/current employees have to get options grants and stick with the company for their prime years.

b) Absolutely the best buying opportunity investors have had for over a year.

c) Upcoming earnings should not disappoint and looking forward, BRCM's recent acquisitions will accelerate earnings into 2003.

In the very near term, there may be 20% left on the downside, but considering the high likelihood of a 200% return in two years, I would rather be accumulating than selling at this point.
