Hi RR!

Work your plan. Use discipline. Stay smart. Make it come to you. Have patience.

And....thats hard work if your staring at the puter all day, but profitable. <g>

I read one of your other posts........bout the snow. I love it! Sure beats this Sacramento FOG. Yuck! But its been burnin off midday and reaching the low 60's. That is real nice! I miss livin 30 miles east of here, in the foothills....no fog, some snow.....lots of sun!

I grew up in Milwaukee....I know the snow very well.

Best to you.

Keep the rallyin cry!!

:0)

any bears out here? Fed has assured us a cold winter
watch for irrational uplegs, then short the piss out of them
downlegs will be longer in duration than uplegs
money to be made on the downside

QQQ hit prior support (now new resist) last week
then it dropped like a stone in a short pool

instead of risky highPE, high-volatility, down-draft prone, high-growth storage and fiberopts...
consider the deep cyclical chips like ATML

the downside risk on your list of fave techs is horribly huge
the downside risk on beaten-to-shit chips is tiny
the upside potential on your list of fave techs is moderate
the upside potential on beaten-up chips in huge

Rick, methinks you have led many into high-growth and dangerous tech stocks
like me
you should give more consideration to deep cyclicals

the last upcycle for ATML took it from 11.5 to 15.5
its recent downleg took it only to 10
today it held up well, as did INTL

you need a different diet
your steady mantra of moving quickly to mollify losses is misplaced
not one trader in ten can do it effectively
your losses MUST be at least two times as large as your gains
any claim to the contrary seriously impugns your credibility

I hope your holidays were peaceful
my trip north was successful and safe

I like ATML, INTL and other chips
give me one good reason why you prefer EXTR which is down 60% since midDec?
give me one good reason why you prefer JDSU which is down 40% since midDec?

EdamoMan has advocated Atmel for a few weeks
makes perfect sense to me
unless of course you are an adrenaline junky who dances in traffic with oncoming trucks
