Saw that, did ya?... <VBSEG> I think Mr. AG is going to be forced to cut rates this week... The data is just too bad and indicative of almost 0% growth in the current US economy. Some are saying that AG has been trying to play chicken with "W" over the tax cut issue. But now it would seem that the situation has become so grave that it may require both aggressive interest rate cuts AND tax cuts to revive economic growth. Just goes to show that one should be careful what they ask for, as they just may get it.... AG asked for slower economic growth in order to quell the "wealth effect"... And I would suggest that he has gotten it. Regards, Ron
