Learn to do your own DD...........I have depended on so may people for the last year that I am trying to do my own DD. I have really found it to be very interesting and so much of it is pretty easy to read if you got the right coach.....I appreciate people on a lot of threads that I have pulled from especially Vendit's thread. He has taught me so much. Now with that said I will tell you that any stock I pick if found on this board.....well sometimes I listen to Greg or Vendit......but most come from right here. I trust everyone that post on this thread. I was digging and found the following.....No I did not steal this one.....found it on my own.....this could help some of you get started on your own DD......if you would like. It is not a secret that we have all lost money.......Show me someone that has not lost money this year. Come here and let me touch you. I like listening to something positive here. I can see the big picture in high tech and it is extremely positive. I like to listen in here because of some positive talk. As far as loosing or making. I've sure lost alot of money this past year. But...in clearly looking in hindsight. I got in the market with most of my big money in Oct of 99. The financial channels were saying I was wiped out last April. Well...I got news for everybody....and I can't believe it. Right now, including writing off 26% of my original money as a loss(it was a much smaller percentage when I took it) taken out for living expenses this past year; I am right now up 11% since Oct of 99. I don't know enough to try to time the market (which is one reason I find this thread interesting), therefore I am a LTB&H investor. I need a little positive here to hold through this. BirdDog

Voltaire's positive attitude and wonderful humor as well as his market insight have certainly been more refreshing and uplifting in these tough times than these people who have nothing kind or positive to add. No one needs that strife. I have lurked on SI for a long time before posting, and have always enjoyed the comaraderie on this thread. I don't waste my valuable life energy reading those threads with nothing but nasty remarks. My opinion is let them grumble elsewhere. I do really enjoy the Porch.
