Joan, In the previous period of stagflation, precious metals stocks and oil stocks did great. And carefully selected small tech and small drug (now mostly biotech) cos. with such a strong business niche and such a small base that the macro economy doesn't impact them much. Hard to find and extremely hard to find at a decent price.
