Yaacov: Don't delude yourself. A possible snap back will occur by Friday. The trend is still down for a long while until earnings become positive. If there is significant movement by the Fed by next week there will be this bounce. If not, I am afraid, more of the same. Some are taking chips off the table to preserve capital right here.

I read tech's post to you. There are so many uncertainties down the road that I'm not sure how I feel about the stock markets even though there are tech companies out there with good earnings.

I've read that consumer and corporate debt is a problem that could hold the markets back, but I don't know if it is a significant problem. Maybe, someone here would have a comment.
