The value of the contract was probably guessed at, those things are usually confidential. The value of the minerals is probably in the $500 billion range.

I hope if Elian takes a raft north in a few years he makes it. Castro got lots of photo-ops over this, he played it for all it was worth.

although the systemic damage under clinton has been immense, nonetheless i'm fairly certain that most of us will soon pine for, 'the good old clinton daze.'

as funny as it might sound now, the bush machine is going to end up being a tyrant of tyrants.

clinton - and those before him - have all had a hand in what is about to erupt. the time period of the bush adminsitration will be the focal point, i'm afraid.
