Rate Cuts Whether or not rate cuts start on Friday is not as important as is a series of rate cuts which should start at the end of January. The interesting aspects of the first rate cut is whether or not the Federal Reserve cuts rate 1/4 point or more. A rate cut of more than a 1/4 point means that the Federal Reserve is extremely concerned about the slowing economy and falling financial markets. This is what I am looking out for...
