Scumbria, you just proved that neither INTC nor AMD outperformed each other for almost two years. Yet Tad LaFountain has been extremely bullish on AMD, but bearish on INTC. Most analysts see Intel and AMD's fortunes tied together. All Tad did was prove he was a card-carrying AMDroid.

Hope you had a relaxing holiday season. I spent part of mine in NYC reminding myself of the joys of snowstorms and salted roads.

You forgot to include part of the graph.

I'm assuming that this was what you actually meant to post:

finance.yahoo.com

You forgot to include part of it too:

Some companies spike, others have sustained investment growth.

You say AMD is the place to be. I don't think so. You have your investment strategy, I have mine.

P.S. - That intel stock I bought in 1983 now has a split adjusted purchase price of 13 cents, I think I'll hang onto it for awhile longer.

Scumbria,

Remember K. Harris? The non-partisan Florida Secretary of State?

I just heard on local radio that she is being considered for a job in the Bush administration. Special Envoy to Latin America, certainly an intensely difficult job. But from what I understand, she is the most qualified person in the country (although I'm not sure if she speaks Spanish).
