Joe Battapaglia is a hypocrite (sp?). He was on CNBC last year when the Nasdaq was at 5000 shouting buy, buy, buy. I think JDSU was one of his favorites. Now he welcomes a return to more reasonable valuations. I don't know how any of these guys have jobs. Oh well, I guess if you suck everyone in when the Nasdaq is at 5000 and make your firm money while they dump their shares on the market you did your job.

Dealer,

Joe Battipaglia is one of the market's biggest bulls (which is fine since the long term trend of the market is up). My only concern with taking Mr. Battipaglia's opinion seriously is that he's really more of a market cheerleader than an analyst.

Of course, this call is obviously more warranted than his ridiculous (and I stress the word "ridiculous") call of strong buys when the Nasdaq was over 4000. Since you will never get a "hold" or "sell" recommendation from Mr. Battipaglia, you can say that his market calls are biased toward the upside irrespective of micro or macroeconomic conditions.

Regards,
