Don't hold your breath. I am very concerned about the new energy secretary Bush just appointed and his desire to exploit out natural resources. Apart from environmental concerns (which for me are very great) I always though that our buying of foreign oil was very smart from a national security point of view. Let the middle East run out of oil- while we save our valuable reserves. If it is possible to buy the oil of other countries- seems sensible to do that, while hoarding ours as a national treasure.

I actually got a PM from Jack pointing me to a post of his there. Of course, like you, I was pre-banned, so I'm not sure exactly what the point was. Not having posted anything to the normal SI political cesspool threads since the demise of the McCain candidacy, it's not like I would have actually posted anything to Jack's thread either, but I do appreciate the thought. Just for entertainment, I may need to dig up my favorite Jack rant from years back. It was about how the rise of Hitler was due to Clinton or something equally logical. Cheers, Dan.
