I am still here. By the way, barrick hit 12.31 on 10/25. Not a bad call, I was probably one of the few people talking about a decline to 12 when barrick was trading at 18 way back when. As to the future, gold may have bottomed but I doubt that it will move up to 300, which portends a dismal future for barrick and the other producers.
FCX increases production by 700,000 ounces per year, barrick continues toward record production levels, and the industry itself still represents a model T in a world of ferrari's. I guess Santa delivered a lot of new caterpillars to the ceo's of the seniors. Happiness, it is better than the new set of Lionels they got many decades ago.
