I certainly wish SI would put back the former streaming quote service. I am writing a message asking them if they can do that and would urge anyone else who feels the same way to do so, too.

I agree.

However, that doesn't eliminate the possibility that the Fed will try to support the malinvestments with another round of easy money. We are talking about AG here. :-)

The thing I am curious about is the point at which a country has no willing and able borrowers left, CPI inflation starts picking up strongly, foreigners throw in the towel on the dollar as the reserve currency, there's so much malinvestmnet the economy craters anyway etc...

It seems as though you can inflate for quite a long time if everyone (IMF, Central Banks, Treasury Dept etc..) is cooperating in trying to manage the excesses and symptoms.
