I like my little .25. It fits in your pocket as easy as a pack of smokes, allowing you to maintain ease of movement. You can enjoy an evening at dinner or the theater without being overly conscious that you're packing. Oh sure, the .45 or 9mm is best for home defense, but they are so clunky to carry, and the .25 is perfectly adequate as a close range weapon.

My fav. is an old elcheapo H&R 22. It looks much bigger than a 22. It is surprisingly noisy..so much so, that during an all night rabbit shooting episode when i was young and foolish, it gave me permanent ringing in the ears.

I deserved it.
