Velikovsky was obviously way out on a limb when he wrote Worlds in Collision, but Earth in Upheaval shouldn't have been dismissed so blithely by scientists. The story of his censorship is an interesting one. I'll try and find it this evening. It's worth re-examining how eminent scientists were thrown into hysterics and felt they had to destroy him, even going so far as threatening book publishers with a massive boycott.
