Lots of reevaluation to do here. Luckily we already had some good triggers long today and some of the few puts were already in profit taking mode well before the announcement. But how do we look at earnings plays now? Well they are not automatic shorts any longer. We have to wait for a little artificial volatility dissipates and we might be able to get further profits on the long side. Remember no matter how good the new is, the volatility resulting today is artificial.. the real TEST will come either the last 30 minutes and even the rest of this week and of course THROUGH THE UPCOMING EARNINGS SEASON.. You can't decide it all or do it all in one day or one hour. We have to sit on this keep a few good 'belwethers' and some of the blimps that have new 'figures' now and not get overloaded.
