Greenie has proven to be reactive and not proactive. Maybe he felt that it was too drastic to go from a tightening bias to a rate cut all in one move.

If I recall the NAPM stuff from yesterday was the lowest we had seen since Sept 91, so maybe things are that bad.

Are things really that bad?
I imagine this will be the next topic on the "news" so I closed out my "quickies". On 12-5-00 we had a very good Naz day and the markets were down on 12-6. Short covering anyone?
