He seems like a fine man alright. A very smart and emotionally stable sort of fellow. But I wonder if he spoke using two-minute sentences when he was a boy? Rukeyser once made fun of his "Greenspeak" a couple of months ago. At any rate, he did the right thing. Also, doing it now helps us with respect to that rule that the first week in January sets the market tone for the month and also the year. At least we can hope that rule makes some sort of sense now (not too sure about that though).

More then likely Greenspan raised rates to put an end to
Bushs' talk of a tax cut being the best way out of the
"rescession" ... He wants that money to cut the deficit
