I double checked my BIOS settings and found everything satisfactory. I original intent was to disable the pre-boot memory check, a time waster that gets worse as more memory gets installed, but there wasn't any choices here.

I forgot, but my system displays a brief explanation for each setting as they are changed. Makes life easy for the forgetful.

Anyway, I was motivated to take a peek. Better to be sure.
