Beauty Ike...you da man! I was reading your post last night to my wife since I highly respect your analysis and was looking for a log to float by on which to cling to. Man did you nail that one. How do we look moving forward? Is it going to be the same old sell into a rally or is this for 'real'? I feel like I've been just about squeezed to death.

My Dearest Ike,
What a lovely thing to say. I do not have your talent to read the charts nor the scope of your intellect so I am delighted that I can be of use some other way.

I know that I am one of many that look for and read your posts every day. I will tell you a secret, I almost sold all my long positions today. I did not because there were a couple of posts that made so much sense, yours and one other. Not selling made the change in green today low 6 figures. Does this give you some idea of your value of your posts?

The changes in my asset wealth over the last 9 months has given me time to pause and review. I have learned many painful lessons.

>>God

am going to write my mother story on the htread soon it will be a classic and it will one

love and beggers of forgiveness.. <<

The good thing that comes from what we have just experienced is it puts things into perspective. Money is a wonderful thing but it is no substitute for good health, peace of mind, or love of family and friends.

One last thing I would mention that has helped me through rough times it is from a book by Claude Bristol, I read it today at lunch time just before the Fed announcement.

"Distress ensues only when developed by conscious mental attitudes. Disappointments, suppressions, melancholy, depressions etc.-all are emotional, excitations or suggestions from a mode of thinking. If you resisted these emotional tendencies and assert will-power to prevent such influences reaching your consciousness, the foundation of the thought disappears. Consequently, the distress vanishes.
Weakness to resist repressing thoughts and imagination arising from emotional reflex both develop from failure of self-control. Stop thinking! Refuse to think that idea or way. Assert yourself to be creator and boss of your own habit of thought-in fact, become unconquerable. No one ever defeated a resolute will. Even death stands still before such a will."

You certainly have a resolute will. It is an honor to be your friend and you will always be welcome in my house.

PS. This was meant to be a PM but a messed up-what the hell maybe someone else will benefit from reading it.
