well, I dont know what to think.......Those JDSU March 110's I picked up for 1/4, just sold at 5/8. I was hoping to get $1, maybe $2, but figured I best take my money and run since they are so far OTM and only 70 days left before expiry......with my luck, they will hit $1 or $2 or more, but hey, somehow, I just made more then 100% profit.....Unfortunatly, I didnt have that many calls, so it wasnt like a giant windfall, but considering the bid was 1/16 earlier, and i got out at 5/8 after paying only 1/4, I wont complain. If anything, it's good for the psyche.......Although we are talking small dollars, I dont want to diminish the fact that I actually finally....after all this time, made a trade that actually made a profit....a small one yes, but 100%+ is Okee Dokee with me..... Funny, yesterday, I was gonna uncover both my sndk and my extr since the calls were so much cheaper then what I got when I wrote them. But I figured, with the market so sick, why bother. SNDK is Jan 60's, and it was at $25...extr was Jan 50's with the stock at $28, so I didnt buy them back....oh well.....I'll gladly let them get called...if extr gets called, that will be about 39% for 3 weeks...if sndk gets called it will be about 20% for 3 weeks.....not too shabby, and I really need to learn to quit trying for the home run and take my profits and run........wonder how the next two or 3 weeks turn out......
