These are estimates not by me but, by the NAS, and I also saw this on PBS I am perhaps slightly unusual in that I don't care much for arguments from authority even if it is an authority that I have some level of respect for. You can get competing experts or think tanks or government groups or whatever to come up with different opinions. I am normally more interested in the argument itself then the person that makes the argument. For specific verifiable facts knowing the source may be a bit more useful, but for something like the hypothetical climate changes anyone including PBS or the NAS is basically making guesses. Tim
