MB:

Add my congrats to the pot. A superb call re Greenspan.
I also owe you a chocolate milkshake, as worrying about what Big Al might do, has kept me conservative. (g)

Have been taking only small positions on my favourites and jumping out quickly at the first sign of profits. This has worked out reasonably well and thankfully there was gunpowder available this afternoon.

Good to have islands of sanity (such as this thread) in confused seas. (g)

Best, Earlie

I share your view with respect to today's opportunities,..... and acted thereon. The famous MB "first third" made sense to me. (g)

M, Tomorrow, the other members of the Plunge Protection Team come out to tell us how they were right to have been bullish all along. And those who dared to be bearish will be making public announcements that the bear market which they finally recognized late on January 2 has now run its course. And all of the brokerage firms will issue "smoke dope, snort coke, buy, buy, buy" recommedations on every POS on the planet and even some of the good names.

Then, after it calms down in a week or two, Alan da Printer strokes us for another quarter point and intimates that there may be more to come.

Silly? Moi! Don't let the lampshade on my head fool you. There is a 40 watter underneath lighting up the markets. And my tungsten has yet to rattle. <g>
