Gary, re:...Look at how much better today's car are comparing with say 10 years ago... True, but where was the innovation actually coming from? Japan, Sweden, Germany is my answer. I think the US car companies are still in follower-mode, making improvements only in reaction to the competition. Typical situation when the bean counters get in control: you can only do something when there is already market data showing its value, as opposed to at the point it is still visionary (and that data doesn't yet exist). ~dbf
