Thanks, Ken...but today was (as Sam said) a dartboard day where just about anything anyone bought was good for a pop. I was completely looking for shorting opps. the first half hour, and nothing looked good. The market was really messy...as if it knew something was about to happen. But when I saw the semi's rallying I bought a chunk of AMD (1k as a daytrade and 500 longer term) and LRCX (200). Bought ALGX too (200) on what I thought would be a slow smooth ride beyond the confines of a long term downtrend. Then I shut off the i-net connection and did some work (you're right...classes don't start till Monday!).

Getting back on around 2 was a very pleasant surprise. Market was up, my 1500 shares of AMD was making me dream of early retirement, LRCX was hitting HOD after HOD, ALGX simply exploded in a buying orgasm, and NUHC was showing a huge rally after a great earnings showing.

Still in a heady fog after today's action. Just back from an insanely boring, 3.5 hour meeting around my upcoming trip to Russia (Feb.)...and all I could think about was the market!

Hoping for a few more of these before we return to our bearish ways...

TC

Got back on about 2 and
