Hi Jim, Yes, with big moves like that it will sell proportionally larger and larger amounts relative to your initial holding's value. Let's say you bought some stock and the next time you checked it had doubled. It would have you sell off about 40% of the position all at once.

It works in a similar fashion when buying. Small move, small purchase; large drop, large purchase.
