This is part of the problem, that everybody is in the market. Increasing liquidity is fine if the liquidity knows where to go -- if it is put to work. The problem we have is that it immediately goes where the holder thinks he/she can make the quickest turnaround. The proof of the pudding so to speak is the 20-30% jump today in the NASDAQ trash. More will follow. The money does not go to the right places. Much of it will be siphoned off for the casino. In a properly functioning economy it would go to factories, car sales, municipal infrastructure, yada, yada.
