Mitch,
I didnt say Bush wouldnt posture for the big cut. But his operatives in congress have already started spreading the news and Richard Gephardt today was talking about larger tax cuts on the democrat side. A compromise that includes a prescription drug plan is in the cards. I know lower rates are a matter of principle for you as they are for me, but for now be happy that the end of the end of the world bs that has racked this market is over.
BTW, what we need is real tax reform and a tax return that is the size of a postcard. Until then all tax reform/rate cuts are illusory and easily taken away as was the 1986 reform. Regards, Mike
