Still #1.. pretty new hre on SI. Now that the market looks like its really giving us a reason for trading any ideas. I like ADCT... Looks like bud broke off the larger tree and it. Looking for similar threads to this to get some ideas.

I have been giving it some more thought since I got home from the office. One good thing about gold as a defensive play is that it has held up better than the other defensive plays. If you look at all
these nice defensive stocks that have all been up the last couple of months, you see that they were sold over the last three days. Some were not sold until the midst of the squeeze.

This is where the cash came from to put on this squeeze play. The big players like GS have been accumulating these defensive stocks and moving them up to get the small fries to follow them in.
Then they start surreptitiously selling and lo and behold on the third day, the big squeeze is put on with the proceeds.

Now don't think these guys weren't planning this because they were waiting for Uncle Al to help them out. Easy Al bailed his buddys out from the horrible beating the market took yesterday. I am
sure that the big boys were shocked by yesterdays action and that they were hurting with some serious exposure to shorts as well as margin calls for really big accounts. This must be what
caused Easy Al to pull the lever early.

But they were lined up with their money on the sidelines waitng for the excuse to put on the short squeeze. Either this was just a big streak of luck for them or they were in big trouble and Al had
to bail them out. They have no doubt been planning the squeeze so have a look at these charts and see how they financed it.
