Hi Steve, If you scroll down to the bottom of this link, you will see that SST signed a royalty bearing agreement in September of 1999 with Emosyn to use SST technology in smart cards. I haven't had time to research how this agreement is working out. yahoo.marketguide.com Sptember 13, 1999 Emosyn, the fabless semiconductor division of ATMI, Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Silicon Storage Technology, Inc. (SST). Under terms of the agreement, ATMI/Emosyn will license SST's SuperFlash technology for use in its smart card products in exchange for royalties. In addition, SST will provide Emosyn with SuperFlash technology design consultation and training for embedded applications. Best, Huey
