eeek. Okay then, $500 minimum/same as last year for me, if I send more that is private. I felt a little cheap and sent to ALSA more than I pledged (but still feel like a cheap bastard after last year's gains).

Oh, Michael--equal weights for me, which I would assume is the default. As far as opening prices, all I did last year was just give the previous close to the entrants as they came in. It was a little messy--all sorts of different gains on common stocks with different entry dates, but a good way to allow everybody to trickle in with entries and get more folks onto the thread.

I don't mind being in there early with the New Year opening prices. I simply marked down my entire primary watch list, with a couple of exceptions: It is funny, I left Ariad and Gliatech (and GLFD) which are on my watch list off of my entry, which is at post #4, and wouldn't you know it, aria and glia came out of the gate pretty well yesterday, go figure.

I would guess that the winner will have only a handful of entries, but I couldn't weed it down any further.
