The consequences of a new low on the Naz will be catastrophic. The magic bullet has been spent. Keep in mind.

Eric,

Man, CSCO sliced through minor resistance at $43/$44. I find this all a bit humorous.

First I found it incredulous that CSCO lost $150B in cap while they were in the process of beating the street ... people sold off $35B in one day because of fear of an increase in loss reserves of $300M. That was insane. Now here were are with an increase of $80B in cap on a 50basis point decline in the fed funds rate - a variable that will likely have little effect on the market and on CSCO anytime soon.

The message - stock valuation isn't driven on reality... it's driven on investor sentiment as a result of varibles in the environment. Fundamentals will only serve to provide us with guidance over the long term - more of a trajectory than anything else. HOwever, short term equity prices/fluctuations have little to with fundamentals - prices are driven by .... well..... fear and greed.

OG
