I'm going to speak from my undedicated gut level. I just work in the trench's, but I was in sales and a sales manager for a number of years. I think that I am pretty good at seeing where people are going under what it is that they are actually saying.

I truly feel that the economy was going along at a pretty good clip, perhaps sustainable perhaps not. I think that the major portions of our economy were at a sustainable rate.

I don't think our stock markets were at a sustainable rate. I really think AG in the last year or so has been responding to the market and not the overall economy. I think he wanted to crash the market and get it back to it's long term sustainable level. I think we have now returned to that level.

This sounds like a conspiracy theory and as much as I love them it is not.

I agree with his assessment that we were in the tulip phase. I am not sure that I agree with his fix but something truly had to be done. There were more then a few problems with the market doing what it was doing for the economy.

Truly good traders can make money in any kind of market, but we were in a market where margined maniac's were making more money then they could spend. Remember when that anal shit for brain came out with an upgrade on QCOM and gave them a target of $1,000.00? I mean come on, something had to happen.

I truly think that AG wanted the markets to return to earth before it took the economy out of their control. The side bar to that is the economy has slowed perhaps to much while trying to bring that demon under control.

The new question is will we save it? I think that we may approach the definition of a recession but I don't think that will get there. I think that the cream will rise to the top and things will be OK.

Now may be the time to look and see if the old leaders still are or who is the new batch?
