You favor banning hand guns? I was reading yesterday about a woman who was raped, sodomized (twice), and murdered even though she called 911 before the perp broke into her house - the police could not get to her house in time to save her - would that she had a hand gun. She lived in a rural community. I became very pro gun when a friend of mine had someone try to break into her house, and she called her dad and the cops, and her dad got there with a gun before the cops did. Freedom works.

conservative in monies, taxes, economics but oh so liberal on many social issues I'm conservative in monies, taxes, economics. I wouldn't say I'm "oh so liberal on many social issues"- -somewhat so, though. As Queen Victoria said, they can do anything they want as long as they don't do it in the street and scare the horses. (She said THAT? Supposedly so.) I'm closer to Libertarian over all. So if you get booted, I'm probably not far behind. And I seem to be the thread cop. I give you a pass. JLA is judge, jury, and executioner, though. I have mixed feelings on guns. I wish we'd quit blowing each other away with such abandon. Then I remember that Jefferson believed an armed populace is necessary to keep the government from becoming tyrannical. I look at Slick and I think he had a point.
