If you really bought AMZN today Mark, you obviously really never cared about fundamentals anyway. And that's ok with me!

Chesapeake Energy was up 326% in 2000, and Philip Morris, a cigarette maker, for gosh sakes, was up 98% ! Elec & gas utilities shined.

How do jdsu, cmtn, csco, amzn, cmgi, arba, akam, ebay or vert compare to that in 2000?

The new econ stocks were in the crapper in 2000 before the gloom really set in, so how will they outperform in 2001 with the day traders and the starry-eyed followers of the internet "visionaries" both long gone?
