If you are looking for criminal history information such as arrests, you may want to contact the Florida Department of Law Enforcement at (850) 410-8109 or their website at fdle.state.fl.us to request criminal history information. The cost is $15 for each individual being investigated. If you are only interested in whether the individual is a former Florida prison inmate, you may call Information Services at (850) 488-0420 to look it up, or find it on the web at dc.state.fl.us inmatereleases/inmatesearch.asp. Note: Releases prior to October 1, 1997 are not available on the web.
