Yep. But I wouldn't go overboard with gold. And I think that gold and precious metal stocks are a better way to go than the metal/s. I would limit it to a max of 5% of my portfolio, though. I would also allocate some of my money on other inflation hedges such as REITs, oil and oil service stocks and small-cap stocks, instead of plunking it all in gold.
