ISO,

I've had more than my share of the cold white stuff when I was younger. One fine summer day long, long ago, in a place far, far away, my wife and I made the decision to leave the east coast and move to Arizona. We had some very lean times down here at first, but we both went back to school, got additional education and we've never looked back or regretted the move. It took a lot of guts to just up and leave (or sheer stupidity!), but we had decided to do what we would do without any help or support from anyone else. We wanted to make it on our own, even if we had to do without some things to meet our goal of independence from our families. Well, I'm happy to report we made it this far at least... <g>

As you know, it gets quite hot here in the summers, and we put up with lots and lots of good natured ribbin' when the temperatures here are in the 100s and back east you guys have a very pleasant mid-70s or low 80s. But in the winter, it's my turn to gloat! Nothing personal, mind you. It's just a quirk that we transplanted easterners suffer every winter, especially during prolonged periods of snow and cold back north and east. I understand it's quite contagious in Florida as well. Hope you understand. <g>
