The drop in assets which should have been steady to up yesterday was the result of panic buying and grabbing the most available source of funds. The euro should go up right? It fell as the demand for $'s soared instantaneously for $ based equity buys.

I would not be too quick to sell into this contra rally. The technical factors particularly in the derivatives market relative is positive relative to volatility so there is greater opportunity to let the market run a bit. That being said about 15% up and we should begin to see a retracement.
